1. You should start with opening a new document, and you need to make a new layer. Next you should select the Elliptical Marquee Tool ( ) and then create an oval shape on the new layer. Now you should fill this selection with a color of your choice.

2. After that you should select the Elliptical Marquee Tool again and after click and hold on the oval selection. Now you should move the selection to where you want, as long as the selection is still touching the oval.

3. Now you should just hit the delete key.

Here you can see how to turn your sunny day pictures, into a night time picture, complete with a moon.
1. At the beginning you should open your picture.

2. After that you need to click Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation - and then you should give the following settings. (tick colourize box, hue 196, saturation 18, lightness -69)

3. Now you should click Layer > new > Layer - and name it moon
4. Its necessary to make a rather large selection, using the eliptical marquee tool, holding SHIFT after you started the selection to make it perfect
5. Then you should press D to reset your colors
6. Now, you need to click Filter > Render > Clouds
7. Selection > deselect (CTRL + D) to deselect the selection
8. Now, Edit > Transform > free transform (CTRL +T) and you should make the moon smaller to your size you want.

9. Now you should click Layer > Layer style > Blending options - and just below, right at the bottom… you can play with the bottom settings (underlaying layer) and you can seperate the triangle, hold ALT and drag them apart.

10. Next, you should click Layer > New > Layer - and call it glow
11. Grab a brush…. around size 18, and with a light grey as your foreground colour, run your brush left to right a few times
12. Now click Filter > Blur > guassian blur - to around… 14px
13. Then, you should click lower the opacity on the layer to around 25-40%

You use Program: Photoshop 5.0+
1. At first you should press D to reset your colors. Create a new 300×300 RBG image.
2. Then you need to go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds.
3. Now you should go to Filter -> Brush Strokes -> Ink Outlines. Settings:
Stroke Length: 5
Dark Intensity: 20
Light Intensity: 10
4. After that you should go to Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur. Settings:
Angle: 0
Distance: 725
5. Now you should use the Rectangular Marquee Tool and ctrl+U to color it.
You should get something like this:

4. Now you must go to Filter>Sketch>Chrome Set the details and smoothness on 10
