At first you should open your picture (just for this example).

Now you should duplicate the window, after that you should go to “window” in the menu bar.

Thre you should go to “arrange” then at the bottom click “new window for “file name here”.

Providing your document window is not maximized you should have two windows.

If you head back into the “window” options under the arrange tab you have two options for tiling the document windows, horizontally and vertically.

The changes are made in the top window and its updated in the bottom window, notice the zoom levels of each window. If you would like the zoom level to be the same in both windows you can simply go to “window > arrange > match zoom level”.

Step 6
Now you need to add a new layer above the duplicated Background layer and after that you can name it Splatter.

Now you should download awesome high - res brushes. Now you should coose the colour black and start using the brushes of different sizes around the side and back of the car.

Step 7
Now you need to create a new layer above the Splatter layer and after that youu can name it Lines. Then you can select the Brush Tool, choose a 2px, soft edged Brush and then you should select the Colour White and after that you can open up the Brush Palette. You should set the Spacing to 150%.

Now you should select the Pen Tool and after that you should create a small line at the back of car.

Right Click and you need select Stroke Path. Make sure Simulate Pressure is not ticked and click OK. Now you should delete the path and your picture should look like this.

Now you should create lots more small, different sized lines around the back of the car (you can create these lines on the same layer). For each line you need to use a different colour.

Step 8
Affter that you should create a new layer and name it Gradient 1. Then you need tto select the Gradient Tool and use these settings. The left hand colour is #3d009c and the right hand colour is #ff6600.
You shoulld make sure Linear Gradient is selected.
Hold down Shift and you should drag your mouse from the left to the right. This is how picture should look like.

Now you should change the Layer Style to Soft Light, then you need to select the Pen Tool and select this area.

Right Click and after that you should choose Make Selection. Enter 5 in the Feather Radius box.

Now you should press Delete and then Deselect the Selection. Your picture should be looking like this.

Step 9
Now you need to create a new layer and then you can name it Gradient 2. Then you should select the Pen Tool and after that you should make a selection of this area. Make sure when draw your path it overlaps slightly on the other gradient. Enter 5 again in the Feather Radius box.

Now you should select the Gradient Tool again and use these settings. The left colour is #ff6e02 and the right one is #ffff00.

Hold down Shift and drag your mouse from the middle of the page to the right. Also you should change the Layer Style to Soft Light and then select the Eraser Tool. Using a relatively large brush erase most of this layer apart from this area that is selected in this next picture.

Now you should duplicate this layer and after that you should move the picture up slightly. You should again duplicate the layer and after that you can move it up slightly. Now you should go to Image, Adjustments, Hue/Saturation and there you can use these settings.

Finally you should duplicate this layer and then you should again move the pictire up slightly. Again you need to go to Image, Hue/Saturation and you should use these options.

Step 10
Now you should create a new layer on top of everything and after that you can name it clouds. Then you should press D on your keyboard to reset the colour palette and you need to fill this layer with the colour black. Now you should go to your colour palette and after that you can change the background colour to #1000de. Go to Filter, Render, Clouds and set the Layer Style to Soft Light and the opacity to 80%.
Then you shoulld add a bit of text reading Street Tuner with font, Avant Garde LT Extra Light with a Layer Style of Pin Light and to finish off added a 15px border around the picture and you should dropp the opacity of that layer to 90%.

Super Slick Lighting Effects (part 1)

Step 1
At the beginning you should open up the picture in Photoshop and then you need to go to Image, Image Size and enter 1600 into the Width box.

Now you need to duplicate this layer by pressing Ctrl/Apple and J.

The car is slightly too light so go to Image, Adjustments and click on Levels. Now you should drag the middle slider to 0.9 or enter 0.9 into the box.

Now you may create a new layer and there you can select a large brush (something around 200 - 300px will do). After that you should choose the colour black and then you may brush around the car.

Now you shold set this layer’s style to Soft Light. Your picture should look like this.

Step 3
Now you need to create a new layer and select the Brush Tool. After that you should change the Hardness down to 0% and then you may put the Brush size to 10px and then you should go to the Brush Palette and there you need to use these settings.

Now you should select the colour white and then select the Pen Tool and after that you should create a line something similar to this.

Now Right Click and you may select Stroke Path. Tick the Simulate Pressure, you should press OK and after that you need to delete the path.

Now you should repeat this step creating different lines around the car using various sizes of brushes, different vibrant colours and outer glows. You should try changing a few options of the scattering option in the Brush Palette to create different effects. You need to remember to create a new layer for each line you do.
After that you should groupe the layers and now you can put them into a folder called ‘Lines Around Car’ and then change the Layer Style of the folder to Screen.

Step 4
Now you need to copy and paste picture into your document and name the layer Nebula.
After that you can change the Layer Style to Screen and then select the Eraser Tool. Now you should set the size to around 400px and erase around the edges so you leave the picture in the middle.
Now you should press Ctrl/Apple and the letter T and transform it clockwise around 55 degrees and after that you need to move it so it sits along side of the car.

Now you need to copy and paste picture into your document and name the layer swirls.
After that you should set the Layer Style to Soft Light and then you can again select the eraser with a size of about 400px and erase around the edges. You should set the opacity of this layer to 70% and after that you should move it so it sits alongside the car just like the last step.

Cool Pacman Greetings Card

Step 1
At first you should create a New Documen, matching the size of the card you wish to print out.
(i.e: A6 result; A5 folded in half. A5 result; A4 folder in half etc.)

Now you can use a rounded font (e.g. Arial Rounded, Helvetica Rounded: Bold), layout your greeting on the card in white so that it is clear to see.

As you know, a Pacman greetings card would not be complete without pac-dots! To create these you need to use the “Elliptical Marquee Tool (M)” and manually you should create one complete column of 10 pixel circles, 50 pixels apart.

Next, you need to delete all the pac-dots that overlay the greeting and wall, then you should apply the following Layer Style to the pac-dots layer.

You can pick up a Pacman Screenshot from Google and then cropping it to one of the ghosts, enlarge it. If you use the “Pen Tool (P)”, you can trace around the ghost.

Step 1. At first you should create a canvas of somewhere around 640×480. After that you should fill the background with white. Then you need to create a new layer called ‘orange’ and now you can select the custom shape tool (U).

At the beginning you should open in Photoshop the photo you want to modify.

Then you need to select with the Magic Wand the areas with sunlight reflections (for this you should use Shift+left mouse button click to select multiple areas).

Now you can right click on the selection - Layer via Copy. After that you should go to Image - Adjustments - Brightness/Contrast and then you can reduce the contrast and the brightness. If you want improve the quality of the layer’s borders you should use the Clone Stamp and Eraser tools.
Duplicate the background layer, then you need to go to Image - Adjustments - Desaturate. Layer - Layer Style - Blending Options - Multiply. After that you should set these settings in Image - Adjustments - Curves

Now you need to search the web for a picture of a street lamp and after that you can add it to the photo, remember to remove the odd area. Now you should resize it using the Free Transform (Ctrl+t). Then you should go to Filter - Render - Lens Flare, there you can choose 105mm prime and after that you can set the brightness to 25-40 percent. Now you should try to remove the odd stuff of the flare.
Flatten picture and then you can use Burn, Dodge, Sharpen tools to make light effects. After that you can duplicate the layer twice, you need to go to Filter - Blur - Gaussian blur and then you should slightly blur the layer. After that you can set the blending options to Color Dodge. On the other layer, you can add some light area near the lantern using the Dodge tool and after that you should set its blending options to Color Dodge also. Search the Internet for  night sky pictures, try to add some stars. You should get something like that.

Creating Glossy Green Text Effect

Step 1:
At the beginning you should create a new file. Now you should make a new layer set and after that you need to name it ‘Text Design’.
Select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Bookman Old Style, bold, 72 pt, strong and #70D909 color shade. Now you should create a new text layer then type your name.

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) you need to add an Inner Shadow and Inner Glow blending options to your green text layer.

At the beginning you should hide all the unwanted dots/pimples around the face. Now you should use the Clone Stamp tool, then you need to pick an area near a dot/pimple and after that clone that part to cover itself. Next you need to smoothen the face. You can use the Eyedropper tool, pick color on the face. With Brush tool, you can set the mode to Soft Round 50px and Opacity to 20%.

Then you should create a new layer and then you can start painting the skin smooth.

Step 1. At first you should create a new document (300*300). This time you need to try to create rust that can be used as a texture.
Step 2. At the beginning you should change your foreground color to brown (rust) #603912 and your background color to #321b04. After that you should go to (filter - render - clouds)
